Audition Call – Diary of Anne Frank

Dionysus Theatre proudly presents open auditions for their February 2018 production of The Diary of Anne Frank. All roles are available. Performance dates are 2/16-18, 2/23-2/25,and March 2nd and 3rd.  Rehearsals and performances will be at Arts Center East –709 Hartford Turnpike, Vernon Ct. Rehearsals will be approx. 3 Days a week, with a schedule to be determined depending on artist availability.

Auditions will be held on Monday 12/4 and Wed. 12/6  from 6:30-8:00pm at Arts Center East.

Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. Sides will be available for your perusal at the audition, as well as on our website one week before auditions- dionysustheatre-co.org.  A prepared dramatic monologue under 2 mins. is welcomed, but not mandatory.

Dionysus Theatre Company announces open auditions for their summer production,
Proof
by David Auburn, under the co-direction of Gabbi Mendelsohn and Bill Prenetta.

Auditions will be held Tuesday June 13th and Wednesday June 14th, from 6:30-8:30pm at the Arts Center East, 709 Hartford Turnpike, Vernon Ct. We will be casting for the two male roles of Hal (25-35) and Robert (50-65). Show dates are August 11-13, and 18-19.

The first read through is scheduled for Monday June 19th, with rehearsals starting July 5th. Rehearsals will be held 3 days a week until tech, depending on actors schedule/ availability. Auditioners should be prepared to read sides from the script – copies will be available for preparation in the lobby before auditioning. Dionysus Theatre Company will be holding open auditions for their February 2017 production of William Shakespeare’s Hamlet, directed by Gabbi Mendelsohn on Tuesday, November 15th and Wednesday, November 16th, at 6:30-830pm.

Auditions will be held at the Arts Center East- 709 hartford turnpike, Vernon Ct.

The performance dates are as follows: February 17th-19th ( Friday-Sunday) February 23rd-25th ( Thursday- Saturday) March 3rd and 4th ( Friday and Saturday).

Actors should prepare a Shakespearean dramatic monologue of no more than 2 minutes in length and be prepared to read selected scenes from the script. You will have an opportunity to review sides before auditioning.
